Alana de la Garza

Alana de la Garza is an American actress. She is best known for her roles as Connie Rubirosa on the NBC television series Law amp Order, Law amp Order Los Angeles, and Law amp Order Special Victims Unit, and Marisol DelkoCaine on CSI Miami. In 2014 and 2015, she starred as Detective Jo Martinez in the ABC series Forever. Since 2016, she has starred in Criminal Minds Beyond Borders as Special Agent Clara Seger.

De la Garza was born in Columbus, Ohio, to a MexicanAmerican father and an IrishAmerican mother. She was raised in El Paso, Texas. She won the Miss Photogenic title in the Miss El Paso Teen USA local beauty pageant. She then became a specialneeds teacher and enrolled at the University of Texas at El Paso, studying physical therapy and social work. Upon graduating, she landed some small roles while living in Orlando, Florida, then soon after moved to New York City.
